I first gained an interest in photography at the age of 13. My parents had gifted me an orange digital camera (I'm not even sure what kind it was, now that I think back). I took photos of everything! Plants, people, my bedroom...always trying different angles and ALWAYS using the free photo editer on myspace to oversaturate and add fun graphics to my pictures.

When I graduated high school, my grandparents graciously gave me my first "big girl" camera: a Nikon D3200. Boy I thought I'd made it! After a couple of years of learning the ropes of my new rig and taking countless photos of my friends and family, I decided to take a spin at some graduation photos for a friend I worked with. This was the start of honing the passion I still carry with me.

Over the years I have learned that photography is an art form that takes lots of practice, patience and dedication. The only way I have been able to continue expressing my love for this art is by the grace of God, without whom I would not have been able to grow into the person I am today. The love, grace and wisdom imparted by Jesus Christ is what gives me strength, ambition, creativity and above all, love for what I do.
